Hello Be Yoga and Wellness community! If you have been waiting patiently for Punchpass to create an app, then great news, Punchpass has finally released an app. The bad news is that it is only available for iPhone users. If you have an Android, Samsung, or Google phone, you can still create a direct link to your account in Punchpass on your phone and I have made step by step instructions on how to do so below. A direct link will create what looks like an app on the home screen of your phone, but it will take you right to the website URL.
If you have an iPhone, you can find the app in the App Store by searching Punchpass and going through the steps to locate your account and link it in the app.
Accessing Punchpass quickly can save you time and reduce hassle. Instead of opening a browser and either typing in a URL or finding a bookmarked webpage, you can create a direct link on your phone’s home screen. This makes booking appointments or managing your account as simple as tapping an icon. It will look like an app on your phone, but it is a quick link right to Punchpass, our scheduling system. This guide walks you through the steps to add a direct link to your scheduling system on both iPhone and Android devices, with tips to customize and use it effectively.

Why Create a Direct Link to Punchpass
Having a direct link on your phone offers several benefits:
Instant access: No need to open a browser or search for the site.
Saves time: One tap takes you straight to your scheduling page.
Improves efficiency: Quickly check or update appointments on the go.
Reduces errors: Avoid mistyping URLs or navigating through menus.
Customizable: You can name the shortcut and choose an icon for easy recognition.
How to Add a Direct Link on an iPhone
iPhones allow you to add website shortcuts to your home screen using Safari or Chrome. Follow these steps:
Open Safari or Chrome and navigate to your account in Punchpass.
Tap the Share icon (a square with an arrow pointing up) at the bottom of the screen.
Scroll down and select Add to Home Screen.
Edit the name of the shortcut if desired (e.g., “Be Yoga and Wellness”).
Tap Add in the top-right corner.
The shortcut icon will appear on your home screen like an app.
You can now tap this icon anytime to open your scheduling system directly.
How to Add a Direct Link on an Android/Samsung/Google Phone
These devices offer a similar feature through Chrome or other browsers:
Open your preferred browser and navigate to your account in Punchpass.
Tap the menu button (three dots) in the upper-right corner.
Select Add to Home screen or Add shortcut to Home.
Enter a name for the shortcut if prompted.
Tap Add or OK.
The shortcut will appear on your home screen.
This method works on most phones and browsers, including Chrome, Firefox, and Samsung Internet.
Tips for Using Your Scheduling Shortcut Effectively
Organize your home screen: Place the shortcut in a visible spot or inside a folder with related apps.
Test the shortcut: After adding, tap it to make sure it opens the correct page and functions properly.
Use a custom icon: Some scheduling systems allow you to customize the icon when adding to the home screen. This helps you spot it quickly.
Bookmark important pages: If your scheduling system has specific pages (like booking, calendar view, or settings), create separate shortcuts for each.
Keep the URL updated: If your scheduling system changes its web address, update the shortcut to avoid broken links.
Troubleshooting Common Issues
If the shortcut does not work as expected, consider these solutions:
Shortcut opens a blank page: Clear your browser cache and try again.
Shortcut opens in a new browser tab instead of full screen: Some systems don’t support standalone mode; check if your scheduling platform offers a dedicated app.
Shortcut disappears after a phone restart: This is rare but can happen on some Android devices; re-add the shortcut if needed.
How to Remove or Edit a Shortcut
If you want to remove or rename the shortcut:
On iPhone, press and hold the icon until it wiggles, then tap the X to delete or tap Edit to rename.
On Android, press and hold the shortcut, then drag it to the Remove or Delete area, or tap the edit option if available.
