March Studio Updates

Happy March Be Yoga and Wellness Community!

This month brings a change in seasons and we honor this with transformations of blooming from the seeds of intention that were planted during the winter months. The sun begins to linger in the sky with the return of DayLight Savings on Sunday March 10th. We are then greeted two days later with the arrival of the Spring Equinox as Earth continues to tilt on her axis to bring us longer days and reawaken nature around us.

After a short winter slumber, our Friday Night Features are back with two very special offerings in March.

The first will be March 15th, a workshop with Becky, Deconstructing Downward Facing Dog. This long awaited workshop will breakdown the alignment principles of this very popular pose and bring awareness to old patterns that we find in the asana to bring new impressions that serve our highest intention in our asana practice. Investment for this workshop is $30 and you can register on line or in person at the studio.

Our second Friday Night Feature will be a very special offering of Jim's very popular Sunday morning class, Movement & Meditation. Join Jim on Friday, March 22nd, as you end your week with an all levels Hatha asana class with safe options to explore all that arises in the midst of a focused practice. Class will end in an extended savasana with elements of Yoga Nidra and guided meditation. Register as you would for any of our classes. Use your class pass or drop in for $20.

Studio Reminders:

If you did not know, the 5 and 10 class pass can be shared with another person. Only unlimited passes can not be shared. If you would like to use your class pass for another student, just email Becky at and let her know what class you would like to bring someone to, and what their name is.

Substitutes and Class Cancelations:

Elizabeth will be on vacation so we have Becky, Terri, and Jim stepping in and subbing for the three weeks she is away.

Amy will be subbing Hatha All Levels on Saturday, March 9th at 10am.

As much as we try to have substitute teachers, sometimes it isn't possible and class cancelations need to happen. We will show this on the schedule as soon as we can. We thank you for your understanding!
