October Studio Update!

"I gratefully acknowledge how darkness has become less of an enemy for me and more of a place of silent nurturance, where the slow, steady gestation needed for my soul's growth can occur. Not only is light a welcomed part of my life, but I am also developing a greater understanding of how much I need to befriend my inner darkness." - Joyce Rupp

As Fall begins, let's take some time to be thankful for the summer of warmth and growth as we begin to take refuge in abundance and turning in. Fall begins with its feet in the warm grass of summer and ends with the wind turning cold and the impermanence of all things.

The wild growth of summer is important; it's a necessary part of the natural and spiritual cycles of life. But so is the unhurried pace of fall, a time when we begin to slow down. We relax into a period of introspection; growth becomes less important than being still.

Our October Friday Feature offerings continue to invite us to turn in and allow the soul to grow.

We begin with an all levels Hatha Yoga and Fall Essential Oils class on Friday October 13th, from 6-7:15pm. Join Amy as leads you through a practice aided with the natural power of essential oils specific for the fall season. This is a class and will come off your class pass or drop in.

Plan ahead and pre-register for another Yoga Nidra offering from Jim on Friday, October 27th, 5:30-6:30pm.

Schedule Changes:

We do have two teacher changes to our schedule for the remainder of the year. Becky and Sarah will be co-teaching the Wednesday night Restorative class to give Nancy time off.

Elizabeth will also be taking on the Thursday night Hatha All Levels for Terri for the next few months due to work obligations.
